Inside the New $50 Million Harrods Penthouse in Miami’s Mandarin Oriental Robb Report | 08/27/2025 | BY Abby Montanez

Miami’s luxury scene just got a very British infusion of flair. Swire Properties has partnered withHarrods Interior Design—the design arm of the legendary Knightsbridge department store—for its first U.S. residential collaboration at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami. The move marks a new chapter for Miami real estate, offering buyers access to the same bespoke service and design pedigree that has defined Harrods for over 175 years.

Every buyer at The Residences will receive a complimentary consultation with Harrods’ interior design team. From there, they can create a fully customized home with white-glove installation, project management, globally sourced furnishings, and artistic touches that turn a residence into a living showcase. “True luxury lies in the details—from curated interiors to personalized experiences—and together, we’re creating something unprecedented for Miami’s luxury real estate market,” Henry Bott, president of Swire Properties, tells Robb Report.

At the pinnacle of the partnership is the $50 million Knightsbridge Penthouse, a four-bedroom, nearly 8,000-square-foot showpiece in the South Tower. Inspired by the refinement of London’s prestigious Knightsbridge neighborhood, the penthouse blends understated British cool with the vibrancy of Miami. Highlights include a Murano glass chandelier in the entry foyer, Taj Mahal marble flooring, richly veined travertine, and a metallic mosaic pool by French artist Mathilde Jonquiere.

The principal suite channels the serenity of a luxury yacht, complete with a private terrace, freestanding soaking tub, and dual dressing rooms. A dedicated wellness wing goes all out: a home gym with Swarovski crystal–accented dumbbells, a lap pool on an open-air terrace, a Dornbracht shower in 24-karat champagne gold, and a Himalayan salt-wall sauna. Even the transition between floors is theatrical, with a crystal elevator that offers shifting vistas of the bay. To top it off, a secret speakeasy-style bar allows for intimate imbibing.

For Letitia Fitzgibbon, head of Harrods Interior Design, the goal was to translate British design ethos into a Miami context. “We focused on conjuring a feeling rather than just filling a space—the moment of arrival, the sense of place,” she says. “The result is a penthouse where every detail feels considered and sculpted, a cool elegance set against a vibrant backdrop, very much British in its understated boldness, but perfectly at home in Miami.

With over $1 billion in sales already and more than half of the South Tower spoken for, it seems Miami’s elite agree. The final residences on Brickell Key start at $4.9 million, while the $50 million Knightsbridge Penthouse concept remains the crown jewel.”
